Nina Simone était une icône : elle était à la fois une des plus grandes chanteuses de jazz de son époque, et une ambassadrice de la lutte contre le racisme. Mais avant d'être Nina Simone, elle était Eunice Kathleen Waymon, une prodige qui a chanté avant de pouvoir marcher et a appris à jouer du piano sur les genoux de son père.
