Je m'appelle Ivan et je suis un gorille. Je vis au Circorama, la ménagerie d'un pauvre centre commercial. Je ne m'ennuie pas. J'ai des amis : Stella, la vieille éléphante, Bob, le chien errant et Julia, la fille du gardien. J'ai la télé, et surtout, j'ai mes dessins car je suis un peu artiste. Je suis si habitué à vivre enfermé que je ne suis même pas malheureux.
